Mauve House is a small, independent software studio. We build a handful of focused tools for the rough patches of work and life. Right now it is mostly one person doing the building.
The person behind it is a quality engineering leader with close to twenty years in tech: testing and supporting products, and building and transforming the teams and processes that ship them. She is now adding a new layer on top of that deep background, an AI manager with a product vision, building products as well as making sure they hold up.
People are getting knocked off course right now. A job ends with a calendar invite. You have to rebuild, fast, and usually while the rent is still due. That is who we build for. Our first product, Plan B → A, is for the weeks right after a layoff.
We would rather make a few small things that each do one job well than one bloated app that tries to do everything. Our products do not look alike, because the problems are not alike. What stays the same everywhere is that we actually care whether they help you.
The management style behind the studio is servant leadership, and the products inherit it.
