Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of FE Exam Prep (the "Service"), operated by Mauve House LLC, a New Jersey limited liability company ("Mauve House", "we", "us"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and reside in the United States to use the Service. By using it, you represent that you meet these requirements and that the information you provide is accurate.

2. The Service

Mauve House provides a small set of software tools for personal, educational, and everyday use. Each product is described on its own page. The products are provided for general and self-help purposes only.

• We do not guarantee any specific result, score, or outcome. Outcomes depend on many factors outside our control.
• Nothing in the products is professional advice (legal, medical, financial, engineering, or otherwise) or a substitute for a qualified professional.

3. Accounts

You are responsible for your account credentials and all activity under your account. Keep your password secure. One account per person; do not share, sell, or transfer your account. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

4. Payments & subscriptions

Paid plans are sold and processed by our payment provider, Polar, acting as the Merchant of Record. Polar handles the transaction, applicable taxes, and billing on our behalf; your purchase is also subject to Polar's buyer terms.

• Prices and plan details are shown at checkout. One-time access plans grant access for the stated period; subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled.
• You may cancel a subscription at any time from your account or the billing portal; cancellation stops future renewals and access continues until the end of the paid period.
• We may change prices or plans prospectively; changes do not affect a period you have already paid for.

5. Refunds & disputes

If something is wrong with your purchase, contact us first and we will try to make it right. Refunds, where granted, are processed through Polar. Initiating a bank chargeback on a valid, delivered purchase instead of contacting us may result in immediate suspension of access. Access is revoked when a purchase is refunded or charged back.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• copy, redistribute, resell, or publicly post the questions, solutions, or other Service content;
• scrape, crawl, or use bots/automated means to access the Service or extract its content;
• reverse engineer, probe, or attempt to bypass access controls, paywalls, or security;
• create accounts by automated means or misuse promotional/discount codes;
• use the Service unlawfully or in a way that harms the Service or other users.

7. Intellectual property

All questions, solutions, diagrams, text, and software in the Service are original works owned by Mauve House LLC (or licensed to us) and are protected by intellectual-property laws. We grant you a limited, personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive license to use the Service for your own exam preparation. No other rights are granted.

8. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any content is complete or current.

9. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Mauve House LLC and its members will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Mauve House LLC from claims, losses, and expenses arising out of your use of the Service or your violation of these Terms.

11. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the "Last updated" date and, where appropriate, additional notice. Continued use after changes means you accept the revised Terms.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Jersey, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. The exclusive venue for any dispute is the state or federal courts located in New Jersey, and you consent to their jurisdiction.
